One desk in Goldsboro, one rail of thirty dresses

Zaptim is a small dress shop run by Tyleka Amaya Funy LLC, a North Carolina company, from a registered office at 322 Charles St in Goldsboro. The office is one desk and one returns room. No stock is held there. None. The dresses are made and held by manufacturing partners in China; each order is packed there and flown to the customer with the import duty already paid, so the figure printed beside a dress is the last one anyone pays. That route takes 9 to 16 business days door to door. We print the number. We do not round it down.

Eleven sizes, because a rail that stops at XL is half a rail

Most dress shops list a style to XL and stop. We looked at that and thought it was the wrong place to stop. We chose the thirty styles on this site by their size runs first and their prints second. The widest styles run from XS to 4X, the keyhole maxi runs from 0 to 26W, and the kaftan runs from 1X to 5X, which puts eleven sizes on one rail. The tape measure in our logo is not decoration. It is the reason the shop exists, and measurement over adjectives is the house rule on every page, including this one.

Six things you can hold us to

Shipping costs $5.99, or nothing from $59. A parcel arrives in 9 to 16 business days, and if it will be late you hear from us first. Zero is owed at the door. A dress can come back within 30 days of delivery, restocking fee $0. A fault, a wrong dress, a misleading listing: our cost, postage included. A person reads every email and answers within 1 business day, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern. Six promises. Each lives in a policy page with its own numbers, and none of them is written anywhere as a slogan.

Zero of these: a factory, a showroom, a heritage story

We do not own a factory, and we do not design the dresses. We choose them from manufacturers' ranges and put our name on the shop, not on the label inside the dress. There is no showroom to visit and no fitting room in Goldsboro. We hold no textile certification, we have won no award, and we have no founding legend to tell. What we have is a short list with a wide size run, and a set of numbers we keep.

Thirty dresses today; the list will grow, out loud

Today the whole catalog is dresses, split across casual, work and evening rails, and every page on this site is written about dresses for that reason. As the shop grows, more dress categories come first. Other items sold the same way may follow, as long as they meet the same bar: real stock from a named manufacturer, a size list, photographs of the actual item, and the same shipping and return terms as the rail today. Nothing is added quietly. Not one hanger. When the range changes, so do this page and the policies, and whatever is listed is sold on those same terms from its listing day.

One founder, one address

I started this shop for the woman who scrolls past a dress she likes because the size list ends two sizes short of her. The list here does not. It runs to 5X. If a number on this site is ever wrong, tell me and it will be fixed, along with the parcel it affected.
