Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Last updated: September 2, 2026

This page exists for residents of California under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). It states plainly what Zaptim does with personal information, and how to send an opt-out request even though, as explained below, there is nothing to opt out of.

Your Rights Under CCPA

A California resident may find out which personal information a business holds and what it does with it. Have it deleted. Have errors corrected. Stop any sale or sharing. Limit use of sensitive information. Face no penalty for asking. Zaptim collects no sensitive personal information as the law defines it, so the limit on its use has nothing to act on here.

What Does "Selling Information" Mean?

The CCPA's definition of a sale is passing personal information to another business in return for money or any other benefit; its definition of sharing is passing it to another business for cross-context behavioral advertising, paid or not. Zaptim does neither. Not once. Personal information leaves Zaptim in three cases only: to Stripe or PayPal to take a payment, to the manufacturing partner and the carrier to deliver an order, and to a court or authority when the law compels it. Each is a service provider under the Act or a legal disclosure, and is not a sale, not a sharing, and never advertising.

Opt-Out Request for Personal Information Sharing

No sale and no sharing takes place, so no switch exists to flip, and the site carries no "Do Not Sell" toggle for that reason. An opt-out request may still be sent. It is recorded. Write to contact@zaptim.com using the words "Opt-out request" as the subject, plus the address you used with us. The Contact page form works too. An authorized agent may send the request for you if the agent provides written permission signed by you. Should Zaptim ever begin to sell or share personal information, this page and the Privacy Policy would be rewritten first, and every recorded opt-out would be honored from the day the practice began.

Verification Process and Response Time

We confirm receipt of any request within 1 business day. Every request. An opt-out request needs no verification beyond matching the email address; it is completed within 15 business days. A know, correct or delete request is verified by matching the details you give against the order or account on file, and where no match can be made, one further question is asked. Such requests are completed within 45 days of receipt, with a possible extension of 45 more for a complex one, notified ahead of the first 45.

Right to Non-Discrimination

Nothing about your treatment changes when you use a right on this page. Prices, shipping, returns and support do not move for anyone who has sent a request. No discount or other incentive is offered in return for anyone's personal information.

Important Notes

No personal information of anyone under 16 is knowingly sold or shared by Zaptim, and none is collected from anyone under 13. Global Privacy Control signals sent by a browser are not currently read by this site; the site has no sale or sharing for such a signal to switch off, and the email address above is the channel for a recorded opt-out. This page is reviewed whenever the Privacy Policy is reviewed, and the date at its head moves when the content does.
